I call my glorious autumnal pattern for the Builders Mug seen here, Berries, and it's from my Rustic collection. Watercolour leaves cross each other in beautiful, semi opaque shades of teal, violet, burnt orange, and dark blue. Under them lays a backdrop of beautiful cerise red. My inspiration for this design was a result of finding a stem of leaves that were beginning to lose their pristine appearance, i.e. they were between seasons. To capture this, I used a watercolour texture facility in Paint.net, which increased translucency. I tiled this pattern and achieved the final colour palette, in Filter Forge.
